have you considered a new 545 with the options that you do want? At this point no one knows for sure what the differences between the 545 and 550 may be, but for day to day driving I would guess they would not be *that* significant - another 10% or so in terms of HP and torque. Noticeable, sure, but we're talking different degrees of good here. But I highly doubt that you would get the same deals (discount from MSRP plus very beneficial finance rates) on a new 550 later this year as you would get on a new 545 optioned exactly as you want it right now. Perhaps that might be an option? Oh - and I agree about the HUD - it's a must have

Struts and springs are wearing out along with the age of the car. New car is always ride better and used one. For now, just stick with 545i for a few years and trade in for "560i" then. ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
Bottom line is don't go for that temporary and used 545i.

I wouldn't mind an E60 ED future 540d or 545d if possible for the US!

Thanks for the comments and opinions. I have decided to wait. I picked up my car with its new radiator yesterday. The extended warranty came in handy, saving me $738.
My dealer offered me $22k for my car and sell the 545 for $48K.
