My Ride: 2005 545i sports package, Nav, HUD, cold weather, Prem sound, Orient Blue, Auburn int. Steptronic
I just called BMW and according to them my car finished production today and is awaiting release to the carrier. I live outside of Boston and am wondering approximately how long it should take before I can get my car. I know it varies depending on where the ships are, etc. But am I looking at more than 4 weeks? Sorry if this has been asked a million times before.
Oh yeah I ordered Orient Blue, Auburn interior, Navigation, HUD, Premium sound, cold weather, automatic and most of all the sports pkg. Right now I'm driving a 98 Chevy Suburban with 120K miles. To say I can't wait any longer is an understatment. Hopefully the 545 will corner a little better than my Chevy.
Thanks. I'm new on this board and enjoy reading all of your posts.

Should be around 4 weeks, as long as you don't have the misfortune of some delay. And I made the same move from my GMC Yukon XL (same as a suburban) to my 545. I can't tell you how much fun it is to get back to a driving machine like this car after years of manuvering that tank around! I know the wait is painful, but it is well worth it.

Thanks all I really appreciate your responses. Frankly I'm too excited and keep looking at the gallery. When I do get it, counting the days, I'll figure out how to post some pictures.
And oh, I know patience is a virtue, but that's one I don't have.
