The US is the largest export market for BMW and apparently the pricing there , despite many discussions here to the contrary, is not going to be increased. The Canadian market is small in comparison , 26,000 units annually so we don't get leverage on pricing despite a $1.07 CDN dollar. We either go to the States and try to buy a BMW there or let Canadian financing and local service etc be the rationale to purchase here. It bites, but the resale values continue to hold and be relevant .
Cheers

Hey westcoast, that's great news for Canada...where did you learn this as I'd certainly be interested if it applies to the US as well. I'm going to be signing purchase papers in the next several weeks!
Good find!

I had made the business decision to lease my 535. This decrease in rate will lower my monthly payment by about $100. I'm still upset about the overall Cdn vs Us pricing, but this softens the blow. Slightly!

So my question for you math wizards is, what is the monthly lease payment on $60,000.00 with Zero down and say
8% per annum interest on 36 or 39 month lease?
