3rd Party Warranty?

My BMW warranty will expire in 6 ,000 miles and I was thinking of renewing.. Didnt look at the prices yet but i think its arround 3 or 4 grand im guessing.. Do you guys recommand 3rd party? or fork up the extra what ever it costs to extend to 100,000 miles? Also, this is my first time in this situation. Thanks in Advance.
