Good Morning to All,
Back from Boston and am pleased to report that all is well with my 545.
The new engine has performed perfectly thus far.
I encountered the problem with creaking door seals, drove me crazy for awhile but seemed to be intermitant.
What's up with the windshield on this car? As previously reported when in the care of the dealer I noticed a rock chip upon return of the car. Dealer has ordered a new windshield, however upon my return yesterday when I was about 15 mins from home, I heard something hit the windshield, not very hard mind you but when I got home I saw another stone chip which was bigger than the one caused by the dealer.
I have seen some posts about this and am wondering if BMW has rectified this problem with a better or harder windshield?
