2006 5 Series Pricing

I went in to the dealer to start negotiating on a 06 530i, and although i saw the new pricing on the bmwusa.com website for the day they had it up, the sales person said they haven't received pricing info nor have the lease rates for the 06's.
He said at a minumum $2500-$2800 over invoice, has anyone else come across this when trying to pre-order an 06?
I am on the east coast, Atlanta Georgia.

[/quote]The price I was quoted on an '05 from the CarsDirect.com dealer in my area comes in at $1380 over invoice, price includes destination. They claim that the final pricing for the '06s aren't in, I'll know more about their formula for setting prices after I go there this weekend. I'll be ordering one if the story is right (set % over invoice), otherwise I'll wait to see the pricing.

[/quote]What's funny. Here in the US, the e90 is out next month and the upgraded 525/530 is also out. Both will be marketed as 2006 models. It has happened before in previous model changes.

It looks like they finally unblocked the MSRP on my production order. The following is MSRP on a 2006 530i and options in US Dollars:
Net Total - 60,345.00
DESTINATION CHARGE 695.00
Total Suggested Price (MSRP) 61,040.00
As of today the car is status 155 - assembly finish/quality check, so I'm hoping it will arrive in about a month - anyone want to place bets? :-)
Does anyone know the invoice equivalents? I still need to negotiate final price with the dealer.

Just add $1000 to the previous base model invoice pricing and you should be close.
61K for a 530i, amazing. I'm getting my Euro Delivery 545 for 58.5K , same options w/out the folding seats.

[/quote]I just ordered my '06 530i yesterday. Got the dealer to write 2.8% over invoice into the contract, but I don't have my final pricing yet. The info posted about the 530i pricing is actually lower than the byo site, which btw has the 2006 configuration information: http://byo.bmwusa.com.
