Thanks for posting. They use some same photos from the 2005 brochure. I guess Id rather have them skimp on photography than build materials :-)

The brochure clearly says MY2006, so why is the 545 still a 545 (not 550). If this is correct, the "550" won't be until MY2007...does anyone have anything official from BMW on the 550 timing?

My Ride: 2004 545i - 6 speed manual (July 04 build), silver-grey/black, sports package std equipment (18", active roll, active steering, adaptive headlights), premium sound, bluetooth enabled, folding rear seat, lumbar, 3m hood/bumper protective film, rear tint, euro reflectors.
Default

It seems like MY2006 is too quick for a 550. Afterall the 545 was just introduced 2 years ago and already it would be obsolete.

My Ride: 2007 530i, white/black manual, sports package, nav, PDC, etc.

In the footnotes in the back it states that the data for the 545i relates to the 2005 MY.

Interestingly, the brochure seems to have some errors. For instance, it still shows that Active Steering is included in the Sport Package for all models. It also says that halogen free form headlights AND xenon headlights are standard on the 530i.

Anyone else notice that the full dash spread on pages 4 & 5 show a non-nav car with a nav option on the CID?

That's nav business. No map, just arrows.

Oh yeah, I forgot. Like a typical American, I assumed the world revolved around our market!

Thanks for reminding me Iceman!

1. Still there is no light Poplar wood trim <_<
2. I wonder if all US cars had kidneys grille with chrome slats before> The brochure says it is
standard now for all models (not in Europe at mom, so probabaly it is coming with MY2006 here as well )
