CRRobert; Let us know here the moment you hear of allocations or the ordering guide coming to your dealer. I will do the same. I'm also working with my dealer to ensure I can get active ventilation and nasca leather as a priority option if they don't do it in MY2005.

Rix Mix: Rudy was talking about the same place (Performance Center) you're going. Willie is in the US. Let him know if you have any questions.

There is a proper sport model due for release in either September 04 or March 05 for the E60. It will have M bodystyling mods that will make it resemble the M5. I cannot say whether this model will be bound for the US but I would have thought so as I believe you can buy the 3 series in the M sport model.

No firm details have been released as yet on the final specs and I am waiting on my dealer to confirm what the sport model will have as standard equipment. I think it is safe to say there will be some new exterior colour options along with new interior trims and upholsteries, new design of wheels, revised front and rear bumpers and a new side skirt design. If I can get a good deal I'm switching out of my 530d for the new 535d sport.

Now if they added a a new styling kit that would be Awesome. So if we are able to order the '05 on 7/21/04 when would you guys think that it would arrive best case scenario? I am really curious on pricing, what makes everyone think that pricing will be going up for sure?

Rudy, what is the performance center?

Peace

Rix Mix,

The performance center is at the Spartanburg, SC BMW plant and you can take US
delivery of your vehicle there. You get Museum tour and driving instruction on there course.

Here is link to BMW site:

And here is link for someone who put their experience on the web:

CRRobert, thanks for linking to the story of one guy's delivery.

Rix, in case you didn't explore the BMW site beyond the above link, use this link to see more about the Performance Center in general. You can go there anytime, without doing a delivery of a new car. They have many driving schools, etc. throughout the year.

Got an email from my dealer yesterday that he was "printing the ordering guide for the 2005 cars" what ever that means. I asked him to forward on, but have not heard response yet.

Perviously he noted info coming in a month or so, and that they were beginning to see 3 series info for 05.
