BMW dealers in the United States will get their September production allocations on July 21, 2004 so they should have the 2005 model year order guide info shortly before then.

My guess is that they will have it about July 15, 2004.

I'm 99% sure that when I ordered my March production SMG car, although I chose not to, I could've ordered ACC. Never heard of any conflicts until this thread.

CRRobert, Performance Center Delivery is a blast. Say hello to "Willie" for me!

Thanks FDMeloan. Will probably firm up my order end of July then.

Rudy, I was not really going to be able to do European Delivery, and the performance center was my second option. I came across a thread in one of the forums, and one guy put his experiences on a web site, can't find it right now, but thought that this would be a good way to start, and when I drive it back home, done with break in. It will be a tough wait till Nov though . ED on my next one though.

CRRobert; I'm also waiting for a 545 order until 05 allocations and ordering is possible. I've done 3 first year BMW's, my experience has been OK, but I'm not risking it on the 5

To reconfirm about ACC with SMG, I went to bmwusa.com and tried to order ACC with SMG. As soon as I selected SMG it blocked out ACC.
I tried to order it but still wasn't available when I ordered mine.
Only with Steptronic.

Kigerka,

That's weird , cause I went to bmwusa also and configured and was able to. Now I selected the 545i 6 speed sedan so I don't know if that is what you did. PDF attached summary.

I selected the 530i. Sorry, I didn't know it was available on the 545 with SMG. I apologize for my previous posts.

Odd that it is available with 545i smg, but not 530i smg & 525i smg(agree with Kigerka, just checked again on bmwusa.com) Anyone care to guess why?

Looks like we were both right.

NickP, guess we will be waiting it out together.
