2.9% for 60 Months - How Long?
#1
I am purchasing a 2006 530XI. BMWFS is offering 2.9% for up to 60 months on 2006 5 Series in February. Can I lock in this rate now if I want to take delivery in March? In other words, does BMWFS have lock in periods for it's rates?
Thanks.
Thanks.

i was going to order an 06 525i and they were going to lock the 2.9% for me for up to 60 days after it was officially over (end of Feb).
MD, Aren't you now getting an 07 if you just ordered. My dealer initially told me I could get 2.9% then 4 days later recinded that when they found out that I would be getting an 07. The financing deal i now find out only applies to MY06's.

yes youre absolutely right. i can no longer get 2.9% because im getting a 2007. there are no more production slots open for 2006 E60s, according to my dealer. but initially i was told that i could get 2.9% locked in for 60 days (on financing) after the deadline. this was before they told me that there were no more production slots.

FJKMD are you sure on the rate? I'm having my sales guy check but he's very skeptical. You reside in the U.S., right? Because if you do, the rate should be nation-wide, right? Is there something written somewhere about this rate for purchasing (NOT LEASING) an MY06 E60. I'm purchasing my car next month and if it is for financing a purchase, I want in!
