I have been quoted the following on two 5's in the Dallas area. Keep in mind that so far they have quoted me sticker. My credit score is over 800 so i am top tear.

Deal 1 525i 36 months 15k a year first payment down $762.00 a month. vehicle has premium and zenons $48,270 sticker

Deal 2 530i 36 months 15k a year first payment down $808 a month same packages sticker on this one is $51,270.

Payments seem kind of high to me, any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

$1000-$1500 over invoice is the norm. Don't deal on monthly payment or MSRP unless you want to part ways with your money.

i got my 05 545i from Autobahn BMW in Ft Worth. They seem to be the most reasonable. But if you shop out of state you should be able to get a better deal. The worst part of leasing in Texas is that you have to pay the sales tax on the price of the car which makes the payment higher. make sure you ask for the money factor, resedual value and the final price. All factors are negotiable.

these are the 2007 lease rates from BMWFS

36 mo/15k mi ? Residual Value 60% of MSRP ? .00160 Base Money Factor Rate
36 mo/15k mi ? Residual Value 60% of MSRP ? .00160 Base Money Factor Rate

You can plug these numbers in the lease calculator and find out what your payment should be.

hope this helps

We would need much much info to make sense of the economics of your purchase. If what you did is the equivalent of purchasing the car for $500 to $1,000 over MSRP, then you did well. If you purchased on the basis of monthly payment, then you probably did worse than average.

Go to Autobahn in Ft. Worth, find Max Kohanyuk, tell him Alex sent you. He'll do his best to give you a good deal. Or go to Moritz in Arlington, and find Gary Aggas, tell him the same thing. Whatever you do, don't buy from Classic BMW, they are scam artists.

For leases, the quotes seem high, particularly if you not paying taxes upfront as in IL and similar unfortunate States.

One thing far more important. Get the 530.
