As some of you may know, from my previous post on the subject, 2 weeks ago I took delivery of a silver grey 545. And after 3 days of ownership realized that the trunk had bad paint.
Well yesterday I took delivery of my 3rd E60 this year (sold my 525 to get into the 545). Same color, same interior?same everything with the addition of pdc & L7. In the end I didn?t have a choice of additional options (as I had mentioned in a previous post)?but the dealer did put me in the new car at no additional cost to me! I simply dropped off the old car, re-signed lease docs?and drove away. Essentially in the end what the dealer had to do was take my old car in as a trade?and kick in another $1500 as a cap cost reduction on the new car to maintain the same payment. Term, conditions, money factor, residual etc?were all kept the same. So in the end it was if I bought the car for about $4400 (u.s) off of MSRP.
This was all handled at the dealer level and I simply could not have asked for better service out of BMW of Riverside. They are about 50 miles away from me?.but they have earned a customer for life. I?ve gone through about 30 cars in the past 17 years?and I have never been treated better. If anyone here is in the market I would highly recommend a call to these guys.
I have been dealing with a gentleman named Tye?he is the manager of the fleet sales manager and can be reached at 909-785-4444. No I?m not affiliated with the dealership but yes I?m giving them a plug?they deserve it

Congrats
I am sure you feel a sense of relief. Enjoy the 545. It is a lot of fun to drive.

Alright!!! Another good guy comes to the surface. Happy to hear there are still dealers that will do the right thing. Hey enjoy the extra power. Be safe we don't want you to set a record for the most e60s in one year (not by choice).

Nice to hear a happy ending for a change.
I bet you checked the paint on the new car really carefully.
