I am going to be abroad for few months soon and I am considering selling my '08 535xi with sport package.
I have 120,000km or about 70k miles. All maintenance up to date, black with black interior, with the usual optionals plus the rare roof bar delete.
what should I expect to get for a well cared car?
Unfortunately, not near what you paid for...unless it is manual transmission, but you need to be specific. Check out Cars.com and Autotrader do get a better idea of what you can get.

The car has full maintenance records since day one, no accidents or claims. Always maintained at bmw dealership until I bought it in 2015. Since then I did injectors, coolant system, intake cleaning, belt, spark plugs, vacuum lines, oxygen sensors, front rotors and pads, all the usual leaking gaskets on top of the engine, and changed the oil every 6000km. I recently fixed the rear wiring harness and replaced the diversity antenna. The car has new winter tires with about 2000km on and a set of summer wheels.
the car has a bike hitch in the back, I have the bmw removable roof racks as the car has the factory roof rail delete, and tinted windows.
colour is carbon black, interiors is black with brushed aluminium trim, winter package and logic 7 surround sound.
Where in Canada? Is it a US or Canadian car originally?
The car is located in Vancouver BC.
originally ordered in Ontario, then moved to Vancouver island where it sat until I bought it in 2013.
I have the certificate of compliance issued by BMW in hand for export if someone wants to pick it up in Vancouver and drive it home.
You will just require a temporary license plate from your state and a cluster face (or simply a whole cluster) in MPH and you are good to go through the border and bring her home.

we are lucky in vancouver as we rarely see snow or freezing temperatures. That probably i why I took the pic above, it’s so rare to see the car surrounded by snow.
That is why underneath is clean, much better than any other Canadian car for sure.
