But why would he NOT have it repaired through his insurance???? I just don't understand! I would be SO pissed, but I would then call my insurance agent and get it fixed! Oh well, it will become somebody's project soon enough!

No kidding. Aside from the screen and the knifed drivers side airbag everything else seems to be cosmetic! That will be an awesome project for someone, esp. if they just gut it and cage it.

You could park in that tight spot by the front door, next to the mini van and not worry about door dings.

Or better yet valet park it at a nice hotel then when they bring your car around start screaming: "OH MY GOD, YOU BASTARDS, WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY CAR" until a big crowd gathers, then drive off.

Perfect car for a radical body kit / custom interior, which it will end up as.

i recon thats an uneconomical repair, if you look closely, it would not be worth repairing, there is too much wrong, and its recorded as a loss.
only good if you have another one, or time on your hands to wait for parts at the right price.
at the price hes asking i would steer away.

dumb people.. what satisfaction could they possibly get from putting holes in the seats and destroying the inside? they stole that car for its driving abilities.. (GOSH back in the day we NEVER ruined the inside--cept the column-- )
