FS: Interest in a Flawed Unicorn?
Long-time lurker, first time poster. After a 6-year run, it's time to sell my unicorn -- 2008 535xi wagon, 6MT, silver exterior, tan interior, sport package, panoramic sunroof, latest spec fuel injectors installed 2016, COBB stage I tune. 68,500 miles. Chicago area.
Lemon law title due to 1st owner's issues from sunroof-related water collection in trunk, lots replaced under warranty in early years. Reliable since then but for two current issues:
--Key remote no longer working (haven't tried replacing diversity antenna yet, though I did look at it and there's no obvious corrosion)
--Passenger-side headlight has water, which now has shorted out the active headlight controller, so I have the error message
Thought I'd check if interest here for a buyer willing to devote the appropriate amount of TLC for this one before posting to the typical sites. If there's interest, can provide full details. Thanks!
