FS: Alpine White 1993 E34 M5
I need to downsize my garage so I must put my old friend up for sale. This is a rare 1993 E34 M5. It's finished in Alpine White with Silver Grey leather interior and Birds Eye Maple wood trim. It has the Motorsport door handles and aero mirrors exclusive to 1993. I get compliments on it wherever I take it.
It's a three owner car in excellent condition. The original window sticker was mounted as a plaque by the first owner and is included with the car. It can be seen on the photo link below. It currently has approx. 117,000 miles. I bought it in 2002 with about 83,000 miles on it. The car is a west coast car and has spent almost its entire life in California. I have complete service records back to 1997 when the second owner acquired it.
The suspension was upgraded recently to Bilstein Sport shocks with Eibach ProKit springs and all new hardware. The original front springs and rear Self Leveling Suspension (SLS) are available and included with the car. The brakes were upgraded with slotted, cryogenically frozen rotors and Performance Friction pads at approx. 86,000 miles. The clutch was done when I first acquired the car. It recently had a new front bumper cover installed when it got caught on a parking block after the new suspension upgrade. It has four new Hankook Ventus V12 tires installed. Some of the other recent repairs include a window motor and in-tank fuel pump. It has the pass-through ski sack from the trunk.
It's had a steady diet of 10W-30 Mobil1 synthetic oil since I acquired it. I switched to Castrol GTX High Mileage part synthetic 10W-40 on the most recent change. You can see my maintenance and fuel log in the links below. The full service records are available in PDF format for serious enquiries.
I'm asking $17,000 or reasonable offer for this excellent example of the last of the hand built M cars.

I had the valves adjusted last week to finish off the Inspection II I had previously done myself. I didn't have the shims to do the adjustment at the time.
I had the shop do a compression test too while they were uner the hood. The results were pretty consistent across all the cylinders. According to the owner, the values were normal for this model of engine. See the attached invoice.

I added a few photos over the weekend. I added shots of some extra parts that come with the car (spare belts, front license holder) and of the user manuals that come with the car.
