Quick question. I am currently looking for either a 535i or 550i. One of the big selling points for the 550 is the mtech package and all the other goodies. I noticed you have the mtech kit installed. I have heard its a pain to do. Could you explain any issues if any and who did the work?

I am also in socal so any ref would be great.

Cheers!
Thanks bud, The mtech kit is not hard to switch to at all (have a shop paint and install for your)... If you are interested in a kit just lmk, a good friend of mine owns supreme power in placentia, ca... I'm sure it would be alot harder to make the switch to if you install yourself, well worth paying a little more to have a paint shop install for you...

If the only thing selling you on a 550 is the mtech kit then i would highly recomend you going with the 535 and putting a kit on... the 550 will eat up more gas and cost more... Just my 2 cents.

FYI - if i cannot sell in a couple weeks then im gonna part out.. If you have any interest in buying my car stock, with the kit just let me know. Good luck with your search

Ryan

Just curious; if you do part out, does anyone have "dibs" on your brake package? I would purchase that / Paypal in a heartbeat...

I dont believe so on the BBK's... Just a heads up, I will only sell the bbk's as a package deal (both front and rears together), I wont sell the fronts only, have to buy the rears as well...

I am waiting on 1 person to get back into town next week to give me his answer on purchasing the car as is. If he doesn't, I am parting out asap.

Stay tuned, no sale in 1 week = part out.

Hi, i thought dension price is 300 on the first page? Or is that price if someone buy it with the car?

Yes, i was selling each part (priced/ heavily discounted) with purchasing the car "as-is", thought it would help sell it faster because I know it is not the car for most, only enthusiasts like us...

No games, no tricks, was just trying to not have to do a part-out fire sale and but doesn't appear it worked...

Hope that better explains, not trying to pull anything funny here...

Gotta keep in mind this is a $600 + piece of equipment... People aren't gonna be happy im gonna part out and sell for more but such is life and there is no reason i should do a fire sale on a part out for top end products, yes, $300 would be nice to purchase the Dension for, but then again that was for purchasing the entire car as-is...

Honestly dont remember if I had to code or not, I do know something had to be updated in order to have it fully integrated. I had Method Sound (Michael) install everything. You can call him to ask about the system if you would like. Just tell him it is coming out of Ryan's white 530i... He will know who i am and he already knows its coming out soon.

I have him do all of my ICE, great guy and very professional / stands behind his work.
