FS: 2004 BMW 545i Sport Custom M5 Look 6-Speed
Clean title, no accidents. Sport package, Navigation, M5 body kit, quad exhaust conversion, M6 original wheels, electric fold mirrors, etc. This car has many upgrades and money invested. Recent engine tuneup that includes Valve Stem Seals replaced (no oil burning), valve cover gaskets, alternator bracket seal, timing covers gaskets, oil pressure sensor, and many other seals and o-rings replaced. LOTS of expensive maintenance done, so you don't have to worry about major issues.. 148k miles but runs perfect.. Asking $14000 or Best offer
Comes with a set of winter wheels
There is nothing wrong with the car, has all software and programming up to date. Bought the car from a member here few years ago..
Car is in Minneapolis

That is WAY too expensive IMHO. KBB puts a 2004 545i with 148k on the clock, loaded up with all options at around $8k-$9k from a private party.

Very few 545's out there had the valves job done that's at least $2500 and it has to be done because it burns oil and kills the cats then will cost even more to fix.. Also, many seals and gaskets will need replaced such as valve covers and alternator bracket seal that normally cost about $1000 each so that 8-9k car will cost you more like 12k..
Here is a list of mods, I'm sure I forgot some..

Mods DO add value
For me at least. Otherwise, a buyer will go to cars.com and find a 'regular' car. Of course you wont get dollar for dollar, maybe not even .50 on the dollar, but give me a tastefully modded car vs. stock for a little bit more all day any day.

@Ntuner. . It'll sell. . Just gotta wait for the right buyer who appreciates the tasteful modifications you've made to the car. I recently sold my high mileage E39 with several mods for double KBB value because the buyer knew the value in the upgrades made.
