My Ride: 2001 BMW M5 supercharged
FS: 2001 M5 Supercharged w/methanol
2001 BMW M5 Supercharged + Methanol Injection
137,000 miles, very well cared for car! I am tempted to start a totally different project, so as much as I love the M5, I’m putting my feelers out there to see if anybody wants to jump on this deal! $22,000
I bought this M5 one year ago, had it checked out by two very well-known shops here in town; Eurosport and Throttleworks. The consensus- a vehicle of this caliber was very hard to come by, and based on the excellent condition it was in, I was given multiple green lights to go ahead and jump on purchasing this vehicle.
It came fairly stock, besides a cat back exhaust, LED headlight conversion.
A Few things would need to be replaced very soon, and those were done within the first month of owning this car:
New drive-shaft and guibo
New coolant reservoir tank
Cam position sensor
And then I was on to upgrading…
ESS Vortech Supercharger Kit tuned to 6-7psi (has less than 6,000 miles on it)
AEM methanol injection
Dyno tested on a dynojet that is known for breaking hearts (reads low)
Stock run before supercharger install: 306rwhp/326rwtq (124rwhp gain)
Very conservative tune: → 430rwhp/364rwtq
Very clean exterior
Clean Interior, less wear than expected for a 2001
Carbon Fiber Wrapped Vinyl Interior (over original wood color plastics)
Clean Title
Asking Price: $22,000
