This has been the cheapest car to operate that I have ever owned. I replaced the water pump about 5000 miles ago and installed a new radiator. I also replaced the battery year before last. The brakes were replaced year before last but the car was only use three time last year because my wife got a newer E60. The car gets excellent mileage and uses no oil. I can get around 28 MPG but my wife gets closer to 30 MPG. I really love the heated steering wheel. BMWNA also replaced the instrument cluster year before last because some of the LCD information was unreadable. They replaced it at no charge, which I thought was pretty decent.
The car has no dents or scratches and everything works. There is a bit of the clearcoat chipping off the front passenger side door pillar which I will have repaired and I am having the weatherstrip around the front and rear windshield replaced. I almost forgot, I replaced the CV joint in the drive shaft two years ago.
This has been an excellent and very dependable car. It does not get used much and it is hard on a car sitting. Someone can get some excellent use for many years from this car. It drives and handles very well.
NADA High book is $9250. I think $6750 is a very good price for the car.
