I am a long time e60/61 enthusiast, who is now on a list for an EV (LUCID Air base model) due to be delivered some time in the first half of next year. I am considering to have the new care replace the subject vehicle, which I found with a GREAT deal of luck about 2 - 1/2 years ago. The car is a 6M, in outstanding condition (< 87K miles) and has, I think, every option available with the exception of rear heated seats (maybe due to the fact that they fold down ?) Please review the attached VIN lookup .pdf to see the details. Callouts are as follows:
I would put it out unpriced - and probably look for offers over the course of a month or so . . . unless there is little interest, or folks here think I'm better off putting it out on standard sites or BAT. That said, I've heard BAT is a pain int he butt, so not sure I want to go there
Looking for advice ! ? !
Thanks, Doug
- Passenger side rear door, QP (exending over doors to windshield) were resprayed during my ownership, due to a piece of a neighbors siding that came off during a wind storm and managed to scratch those panels. Uggh. Done by reputable State Farm approved shop in Pittsburgh (GIS Automotive) that does very nice work (including custom stuff)
- Valve Cover and gasket replaced recently ($$$)
- regular full synthetic oil changes
- As far as I know, the waterpump / thermostat have not been done (so that will probably be needed in the next 10K - 25K miles)

I'd say go for it! There are many who have sold their rides in this section, and you'll have an enthusiastic audience! I'm not sure how well you'll do not posting a price though. It's not like everyone can come see you in Pittsburgh to look at the car and make you an offer. You can give it a shot. I'd recommend lots of pics, however. Good luck!
