I have owned this car for the past 8 years where it has served as an excellent commuter, daily driver, and all around great family car. I purchased the 535xi used with about 60k miles after having owned an E46 330Ci for many years. This car has received minor upgrades, as well as regular and preventative maintenance over the years. I have decided to sell as I’d like to move on to a new project. Modifications and parts/upgrades are listed below.

Suspension:
KWv3 coilover suspension, corner balanced/tuned by Road Race Technologies (Sterling, VA)
recently replaced front AND rear thrust arms/lower control arms/ball joints/sway bar endlinks (front ball joint service performed by Edge Motorworks in Dublin, CA)

Wheels/Tires:
BMW Style 230 wheels (19x8 front, 19x9 rear)
Pirelli P Zero Tires (225/35/19 front, 255/30/19 rear)

ECU:
Cobb Stage 1 Tune (Cobb Accessport tuner included in sale of car)

Lighting:
Upgraded 6000K Xenon bulbs
LED angel eye bulbs
LED side markers/license plate bulbs

Within past 2 years (20,000 miles):
suspension overhaul as indicated above (all new thrust/control arms/bushings/ball joints)
full transmission service/filter/gaskets/flush
rear main seal replacement
oil cooler o-rings
intake valve cleaning
new underhood insulation
new engine compartment weatherstripping

Within 5 years:
intake valve cleaning via walnut blasting by Fast Lane European (San Jose, CA)
new valve cover gasket
new oil filter housing assembly
regular front/rear brake service
spark plug/coil replacement
cabin air filter service

Within 8 years:
normal service including air/oil/coolant/brakes/spark plugs/battery

The car has always had regular oil service intervals of 5000-7000 miles for the past 8 years, using Mann filters and BMW 5W-30 full synthetic. I’d recommend the next owner address the front bumper (paint is cracked/scratched/faded), and eventually new front half shafts (the last part of the front suspension I have yet to replace).

The car drives strong, has NO leaks or issues, and maintains full functionality of all features/controls/accessories.
