Is it OK to run different width tires on Xi model?

Because rear wider tires would have much more traction with road then front tires.
That will lead to difference in load for rear and front differential(that is why dealers sell AWD models with the tires of the same width for front and rear axle)

Hmmm ... Do you know that Xi model come w/ optional staggered setup? Or have you seen X5 and/or X3 wheel/tire option setup?

How come you bought an xi if it sits on the battery tender all winter?

That's possible, mine (XI) sits all the winter or at-least when its snows ..sad to spend on XI and not use it..
