Original in-service date is August 13, 2005 and it was a Certified Pre-Owned car purchased from Dallas BMW dealer, and serviced exclusively there until CPO expired in August 2011.

There are few flaws on the exterior of the car, as expected from a vehicle that has been driven.
There are a fair amount of paint chips on the front bumper and hood, few small chips on the windshield (nothing serious, no cracks but I would have them repaired before winter), couple of door dings here and there, few tiny marks and scratches. I wouldn't even mention that, but I want full disclosure.

The car had some PDR (paint less dent repair) done on right rear door due to big ding, and it is hardly noticeable right now. There are couple scratches on lower kick panels, but you have to actually bend and look from under the car to see those. Like I said, it’s not perfect.


Overall, body & paint is in great shape, and it has been hand washed, clayed, polished and waxed regularly. The car has never been in an accident of any kind, and all panels have its original factory paint on them. I hope pictures show that.

Interior is immaculate, for the age/miles. This vehicle is equipped with Sports Package which includes 10-way adjustable power sports seats, upholstered in beautiful, beautiful Auburn Dakota leather.

Leather in the vehicle is in perfect condition and was cleaned, treated and conditioned religiously. It’s supple and nice. All seats are clean and bright, with slight wear on driver’s seat, but it’s really minor.
This vehicle is very clean inside and out. Never smoked in, never had any food or drinks (except bottled water) inside. No weird smells. Very very clean.

All electronics, devices, switches, knobs, buttons, instruments and gauges work as they should. There are no missing or broken buttons or levers.

There are few worn trim pieces, particularly around window regulators and door handles, few scratches around ignition lock, but nothing more than regular wear and tear.

Steering wheel shows some wear, but it’s not terribly bad - leather is not worn, just starting to gloss up. I was going to have the wheel re-covered, but could not find anyone that could cover it and keep the heated steering wheel option, which I use all winter.

Factory BMW carpet floor mats present well, but are older. I didn’t replace these as the new owner may prefer all weather mats or something aftermarket.

Overall, interior is in VERY GOOD shape. Please judge by yourself.

Car has Bluetooth, Auto-dimming exterior and rearview mirrors. I recently added a factory auxiliary input that uses a 3.5 millimeter jack . This is a factory BMW part and uses the factory iDrive/stereo. Plug in any audio device that uses a 3.5 mil input. It’s hidden in the compartment under the HVAC controls. Very convenient.

Car is NOT equipped with navigation.

Integrated Garage Opener, Moon roof, Tinted Windows (small knick in tint on passenger rear window, barely noticeable)

I have both keys, and all paperwork, manuals, CD's, and all accessories that came with the car. I even have original window sticker!

Wheels do not have any curb rash or dings - they have been re-finished, but they are not perfect. They look great from few feet away, but when you look up close, there are some flaws, nothing ugly though. They are straight and true. Front tires replaced at 98,000. Rear tires replaced at 99,000. The car had an alignment done not too long ago, and tires are wearing evenly.

Front tires replaced 9/2013 (98,000 miles) (Champiro)

Rear Tires replaced 11/13 (99,000 miles)(Sumitomo)

Tires are very quiet.


Front pads show 6,000 miles remaining. Rear pads show 26,000 miles remaining. This was cars 3rd set of pads, so brake rotors might need replacement with the next set of pads.

Battery replaced and matched to vehicle 11/2013 (Slow Crank, never jumped) (Factory BMW tech – Super Start)

Thermostat replaced 11/13 (Service engine soon light – showed thermostat fault) (Replaced myself – BMW part)

Front Active Sway Bar replaced 01/2014 (Slow fluid leak) (Factory BMW tech – all BMW parts)

Valve Seals Replaced 01/2014 (Starting to smoke after long idle) This is a major service and will have to be done on many 545i/550i and 745i/750i with higher mileage. Every thing from the cylinder heads up must come off (on 545i/745i). You can be sure that you will have no leaks from the head gaskets/intake gaskets/valve gaskets/timing cover gaskets for many more miles. Plugs were replaced at this time as well. No smoke, no ticks etc. Runs like new. (Factory BMW tech – all BMW parts)

Vacuum pump re-sealed 01/2014 (Noticed slow leak on pump when replacing stat) (Factory BMW tech)

Transmission Replaced 03/2014 (Hard downshift from 2nd gear, transmission warning light) Warranty company provided transmission. It was a used part that they said had around 60,000 miles. Car now shifts very well (better than it did with the previous transmission) and has no harsh downshift and pulls through the gears very well. I was hesitant to put a used part in car, but am pleasantly surprised at the performance. New pan gasket/drain plug/mechatronic sleeve and seal were used. Pan/filter had been replaced 07/2013 at 96,000, so we re-used that. (Factory BMW tech)

NO WARRANTY ON CAR - IT IS NOT TRANSFERABLE

I'm a 3rd owner of this beautiful BMW and it was meticulously cared for and maintained all its life. I was a BMW service advisor for many years and looked for the best 545i/550i that I could find when I bought this car last year. It is fully documented from day one, with all service records. I have recently performed many services as I was planning to keep the car for at least 5 years. The technician that has done all of the work is a BMW dealer trained master tech with 15 years experience (he was a tech when I was an advisor). He recently opened up an indy shop and has done all of the work there.

I bough the car last September in Ft. Worth with the hopes of driving it for many years and have maintained it as such. I absolutely don’t want to sell this car, but am forced to and have priced it for a quick sale. I bought the car for my asking price and have done over $10,000 worth of work to it. The major stuff is done.

The pics of the car in the parking lot were taken 05/01/2014 by me. I have also included many pics taken by the PO 09/01/2013(in the driveway) that show much more detail. He was a MUCH better photographer than I and the car has not changed in appearance since then.
