I love BMW, but also have huge regard for Audi.
Their design and great attention to detail is truely superb and BMW could learn a thing or two.

Check out these pics of the new A5 and you'll see what we are missing out on.

Hmm seems like a 335i RIP OFF!

personally I love the side view and the flowing lines. Rear end looks good too. However I hate the deep grill at the front. Maybe its me but it just looks out of keeping to me. I should say I've never owned an Audi though have driven many. Previous models I've driven A4 and A6 have suffered from fiddly switches/controls and some reliability issues reported from their owners.

It may be my rather strange taste but the interior is where I spend MY time and this is NOTHING innovative from a design perspective and very plastic looking.

I'm not sure the US will get a good "cup holder" feeling about this car either...

I like the front and the side, rear looks so so. Overall it looks really good.

The last pic is not from A5, is it? MMI buttons and knob should be on center dash instead of near by shifter.
It's very nice design, but I wish instrument lights would be BMW's orange or blue than red.

I think it's pretty sharp looking in general--but I agree that the taillights look like 335 rip-offs, and that nose...my god, she needs a good surgeon. That giant honker look that runs in the family is killing Audis for me.

What's the drive-train going to be? 2wd for the 'low-power' ones and 4wd for the 'higher-power' ones?

After driving my E60 for a while now, that interior just looks too cluttered. I just love the simplicity and clean looks of the iDrive.

I do like the exterior of the A5 though. That front would look pretty menacing coming up behind you with a light setup similar to the Angels on our cars.
