x3 vs Rav4
No comparison. I am picking up an 06 X3 3.0i loaded up later this week (for my wife). The dealer gave us a demo for a couple of days. My father in-law has a Rav4 - not even in the same league. That said, it's all about budget - there is a big differnce between a 2.5i with the "leatherette" and a 3.0i with Nav, premium pack, Activity Pack, etc. Make sure the camparison is apples ($) to apples ($). Then buy the X3.......
And the best part about the new X3....it will keep my wife from driving my 550

just read the article from Car and Driver
269hp?
But anyway it is not in the same category even with the X3 3.0
in line 6 cyl. vs v6
3000cc vs 3500cc
269hp vs 231hp
but i think that X3 has the advantage in quality
In my opinion if we wanted to compare the V6 Rav4 with an other SUV we should do it with the MB ML350 shouldnt we?

Thing is the Rav starts in the low 20's over here. The V6 Limited starts at around 25K. The 3.0 X3 starts at 36,800. Add in a few options and you're over 40K.

Yes thats a problem here
Future customer will be in a very big dillema
and also counts what you want and if your budget allows such a buy while there is a cheaper and more powerful car out there
