lol... yea we all know... lol... good one scott..
The pictured car looks terrific. I personally have no beef with Infiniti. My M45 Sport was an excellent, fast, trouble-free car. It just was not quite as fun to drive as my 550i Sport (although it would be able to keep pace with it in the twisties). Infiniti still has a lot to learn about steering feels and the ride/handling balance (every bump or road irregularity was sent directly to the occupants' spines and the wheels and suspension would really crash).

With the possible exception of GTR owner member Extassy, I do not think that there is another member on here who knows as much about the GTR as you do Joe.

with the GTR, nissan is going to put alot of this car in to there line up...
the maxima is going to have an S-ER version soon to come, with talks of a rear wheel drive version with a 6 speed..
infiniti will come with a monster of the M version that is going to be one crazy car.
i was in a meeting with some big wig`s from nissan corp about a month ago, with talks of the tt being put in the line up of there cars... i asked jokenly, did we get this from BMW... lol.. i dont think they liked that, i never hold my words back, but soon nissan and infiniti will have very nice sporty version`s of the sedans... they have to, do to the fact of the market..
seems like everyone is stepping in to the tt market.. i mean did anyone see this ford SHO... tt v6 awd... seems to be fast.. but it is a ford... you know (Fix Or Repar Daily) or (Found On Road Dead)..
but in the very near future nissan and infiniti cars will have tt in sedans thats 100%..

I agree that Infiniti does need to work on the handling. To the the M45's problem is not grip, resistance to roll or nimbleness (it has all of those) but refinement. On all but the most severe potholes, my 550i Sport rides over them with grace. The M45 literally crashes over every bump -- totally unacceptable as the thing is not an Evo. A Corvette rides 15 times smoother and more gracefully than a M45.

Yes, just like the E60, the current Infiniti M45 is nearing the end of its lifecycle and now finds itself as does the 550, with competitors producing significantly more power that it does. 325 bhp (M45) or 360 bhp (550) is no longer competitive in the $60K-$80K sedan class. The TTV8 coming in the F10 550 will do the trick and return it to the top of the heap in its class in terms of power/acceleration.
