lambo wont be putting out any sub $100K US car, so no matter what engine any new car comes with, it wont be less than the M6...

and incase you havent seen their offering at Frankfurt...

a 1Million EUR/ $1.4Million US steathmachine...

Also the rumors of Ferrari bringing the "Dino" back as affordable mid-engine Ferrari are squashed. Ferrari said its not happening.

I think there is a bit of a misinterpretation with Ferrari. They did not say there would be no "affordable" (relatively speaking of course) V8 car. They said there would be no Dino. Two different things. I think Ferrari is going to offer a V8 entrey level car that will ne in the 120k range. It won't be called the Dino of course. I thin many people have seen the spy cars out testing and thought it would make sense to bring back the name Dino, but Ferrari is not going to do that. It does not mean they won't offer a car that fits the decription of what people thought would be the Dino.

sorry but there's no misinterpretation -
And he won't build an entry-level car. "Used cars are our entry cars. We are not going to do any Dino. No way. Or a small or cheap Ferrari...what do you mean small? Less technology, less innovation...no, no, no. I don't know why that story came out, I deny it."

Well I do not know if it will make it to production or not, but a quick search will provide a great deal of evidence they are indeed building the entry level car. A front engine 2+2 with 599 like body armor has been captured on video as recently as Sept 24 at the Ring. Tehy CEO can deny the car all he wants, but that does not mean it won't happen. He has reason to lie about it and create some mistique. In the end it may not be built in production numbers, but it is well past the development stage.

yes i've seen those mules based on the 599. ferrari could be just testing new technologies or components, or even a new model within the 599 range. it doesn't necessarily mean there will be a new entry level car. we'll just have to wait and see...
