taking a shower : 10 minutes
washing the car : 2 hours

If you have that kind of free time on your hands , congratulations, youre wasting your life.

cause i dont
Sorry friend but by who's means and standards that's "wasting your life"?!

I was not specifical about what part of the personal hygiene or care. Showering is just a little part of it, there are many more things...

And yes i do have 2 hours per week of spare time. Hell i have even more, but for sure 2h of them (in many cases) are aimed at cleaning my car. In this time of year it takes even 30 minutes since we have here the manual labor washers which still is far better than automatic-washers and i bet it is the same in your country.

When the weather is nice, i indeed wash it myself which takes much longer (even 3-4 hours). That's mostly done on a Saturday, rarely on Sundays. But that's part of the pleasure, of the relaxation, and the joy of getting the job done yourself.

I am again sorry to say this, and please don't take it the wrong way, but if you don't have the time for those little pleasures then...my friend you are the one wasting your life.

i enjoy washing my car, which takes about 3 hours as well. i mean it pays to look good. and "if you want it done right, do it yourself." no harm in washing your own car and enjoying it

I wash my car twice a month for about 4 hours. And I love keeping my garage clean by power washing it every couple months. And you can call me a clean freak, I even painted my garage white so I can feel the cleaningless of it.

But again, 700700, no hard feeling.
