What are you waiting for? Go GET IT?!?!? We wanna see pics. Besides it will be a really fun addition to your collection. BTW, +1 on the color you chose, it looks great, much better.
I will post pics if I decide to get it. Still deciding on if I want to have payments, because right now I'm payment free.

Was at a dealer this past Saturday to look at the new Camaro's, but ended up taking a look and test driving an '08 Corvette Z06 with only 157 miles on it. I currently have a 550i but was thinking in 2yrs of trading it in for an m5, but my 550 probably would be worth 30k or less by then and I would have to come up with another 60-65k to get a new m5. The sticker on the Z06 is 77k they are asking 66k, going to try and see if I can get it for 60k. This is very tempting. I've always wanted a Z06 and this might be my chance to get one.
Vettes are fine cars. Spend some time on the Vette forums. I am very familiar with the C5 Zs. No built in problems. There are a ton of C5 Zs out there with no miles. 3 years ago, I bought a red 2002 Z06 with 1,400 miles on it. Prev owner was obsessive compulsive and drove it only on week ends. During the week, he put in on jack stands in his a/c garage. Then he covered it with a clear plastic tarp.

In my opinion, you do not need an extended warr for a C5, as there are no built in problems. On the C6, I have not done much research on it.

Congratulations! Enjoy - it is an awesome, awesome machine. I don't think there is a better bang for the buck than the Z06.

Totally agree. Even the interior is decent on the latest gen Corvette IMO.
