Waiting for trunkopener button from Hobi :)
I don't get it?? Mercedes is able to intergrate all the nice goodies when they introduce a car (DVD playback for the E-Class) and now I-Pod integration for the ML. C'mon BMW where waiting to get those options too!!!
Does the ML have DVD playback too??? Or does your car have no navigation?

My wife got this one because in the last couple of years we have owed a X5 right when they first came out and then a GMC denali, Escalde and now this. Over the last thirteen years of our marrage she has finally come around to expecting electronic gagets. So not only enjoying the car and the drive but expecting to have these toys like the Ipod and even on my car the i-drive (which I love).
Also, I can't comment on the Nav just yet because I have last years DVD in it. Someone stole the lastest disk from the car before we picked it up so we have another one on order. I think there are a couple more options on the new disk to last years. Otherwise it works great. I feel its not as funtional as my 545 but it does the trick.
I haven't tried the DVD playback yet. I will try tonight and get back to you.
Later, Teg

Hey,
I just picked up a white 2006 ML500.? The wife loves it!? Here's a pick!
Also, the best part is that Mercedes integrated the Ipod!

Dude,
Get the f'ing extended warranty. Mercedes need LOTS OF REPAIRS and they are very expensive. MB gives you one year from the date of purchase to the get the extended warranty. It is the best deal going in the whole automotive industry. Just do it. Trust me. Our ML320 (2000) was a piece of sh** and everyone I know who has an ML thinks the same. I doubt the new model will be much better.

Same story here, heard lots of bad experience with M-benz these days. A friend got a ML320 where the entire Rear Window Glass felt off, she had transmission issue too. Their Reseller Value really sucks.
That's why i will wait for the new X5 or Cayenne, the currently X5 is out of date.
