My Ride: 2005 545i SMG. Titanium Grey with Grey interior and Anthracite wood.
When ever I see a M35/45 or a GS300/430, I can bairly tell them appart. It remindes me of the late 80's early 90's when all Japanese cars looked the same. It seems a shame to me that Infinity and Lexus look so similar.
Am I alone in this or do other think the same?

Interesting fact about the GS300 is that the engine installed in the US is 3.0 liters, while the rest of the world gets a 3.5 liter with about 35 more horses. To verify this, take a look at lexus.ca or lexus.jp...GS350 in those places. Lexus salesman admitted that the 3.5 would be in the US car next year, but said "test drivers seem happy with acceleration." Also, trunk seems very small.

Nah I can tell them apart.. I like the M35/45 much more than teh new GS... New GS is really borring to me.

Thats right. its not just you... the HP in a Jap car is weaker than the HP in a german car to me too. I was never able to varify this but I swear a german HP is more powerful than the jap HP.
but saying 530 can easily beat a 430 is a no no. the GS 430 is pretty quick....

My Ride: 2005 530i JETBLACK/BLACK DAKOTA, COLD WEATHER PKG, PREMIUM PKG, ADAPTIVE XENON HEADLIGHTS, AUTO TRANSMISSION WITH 6 SPEED STEPTRONIC, BLUETOOTH SETUP,SAT SETUP AND WIFE AS CO-PILOT
here is my 0.02 cents.... i think the gs 06 looks pretty darn close to the maxima.. especially from the rear... and the side . having saidd that... i wanted my car to stand apart from the rest of the confusion...you can see the e60 a mile away with no confusion...

AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh you've enlightend me today!!! THATS WAHT THAT STUPID CAR REAR looks like... a Maxima!!!!! i've been trying to figure out what the heck does that look like!!!! and never put 2 and 2 together...
