Agree this is the proof the Prosche is loosing the pasion and it's going after the profits not matter what. I'm dissapointed by this. Same story with the cayenne.

Like with the Cayenne, the Panamera is good for Porsche sport car buyers as it provides the big profits that will be used to fund R&D to improve the 911 and Boxter/Cayman and develop new supercars.
Is it a bad thing that Porsche offers the highest performance vehicle in most car segments? I don't think so.

though i highly disagreed with the decision on the Cayenne, i think that this car can serve a purpose with new profits for porsche to continue to invest into the sports car R&D, otherwise 911s would need to be priced like the F-cars they compete with ...i'll give it a look
