congrats Ed, looks sick!!!!

glad you didnt miss out on the carbon fiber this time now if only you'd ship her back east for us to play on ocean pkwy and see how the top ends work out between us

But...really luv it, the 911 is my fav sports car of all time and the turbo is a beast...after this beast i too may jump to the P-car, but i'm considering the gt3 as i dont want turbo tech from bmw so i wouldnt jump and take it over there but they are great for what they can do ofcourse and its just a preference...

how do you like the every day feel of the turbos outside of the sound as compared to the S85??? and... when do the RACs get installed

good luck!

It does seem the Porsche Turbo is the only real upgrade from the M5.
Many m5board.com members did just that.

Some were lucky enough to have both at the same time.

Ed - I love the replacement. Love it! Great color choice too! So what's your first mod going to be?

Do I hear a Tubi exhaust in its future????

Hey Mike
Can't really comment on the 'everyday feel' seeing as I've only driven it a handful of times since I got it
Lag is minimal, almost undetectable with street driving. I would suspect it would be a bit more obvious on the track which is where NA will shine. Seeing as I'm not a track rat (yet), forced induction>>>>>>NA anyday of the week and twice on Sundays.

Oh, so many 'first' mods I'd love to do. Wheels and exhaust will likely be the first big purchases. But not for a while. I blew my wad on the car Tubi is nice, but not quite aggressive enough for me (you DO remember how loud the M5 was, right? ) Best one I've heard so far is by a company called FVD/Brombacher. Oh, so many toys, so little money...

BTW, that pic of you in the Village People police man outfit is freakin' me out

I might be able to help cause the people of Phoenix to slip, fall and break more of their bones, if that would help expedite the modding process.
