Audi with its R8, RS, S cars are probably going to be cut off or changed/affected when/if Porsche takes over ownership of Audi (via VW)
Because of this 'threat, the R4 has already been shelved and the R8 will probably be cut off as well when they take over:

This has been discussed in German magazines too, and there is some truth in it. What annoyed VW was that Porsche in a board meeting stated that some cars in the pipe line should not be produced as they would be "too close" to Porsche. That doesn't mean that all S and R-cars will disappear from eg. Audi, but a car like the R8 could risk being without a follower.

Porsche is already the majority shareholder in VW and thus already has an effective majority in VW controlled operating divisions such as Audi. Porsche is likely to assume full control of VW in the near future (by the end of November) and thus VW, Audi, Bentley and Lamborghini will become operating divisions of a holding company owned by Porsche. The restructuring to do this is already in place and Porsche has representation on VW's supervisory board.
