And it has bluetooth and other fun things in it too. I think most dealers are taking delivery in Dec. Ughh maybe I should have waited..

LOL is the 997 "refreshed"? Where?

The back looks more like a TT (maybe from the stoplights) and the front has not been changed, has it?

actually, more like the cls IMO....

Yep, the exterior changes on the refresh are pretty minor but the big news is the engines which are all new (DFI, 385bhp in the S, lower emissions, better MPG) and there is a new double clutch transmission.

The next gen 911 is apparently due for release in 2011
Eventhough this is just a mid-cycle refresh.

I believe it could be one of more dramatic changes to the 911. The rear tail lights really change the look of the car. It looks amazing.

here are some pics i took while in Stuttgart, Germany last week as part of an amazing Euro-trip.

all these porsches are coming out of the factory and being taken to the delivery centres/showrroms etc. The place is not open to public but i took whateer pics i could from outside. i doubt i'll ever see so many Porsches together again...

o and 2 of the porsches you'll see are the new facelifted 997s...beauty!!

There are some nice videos which i'll upload later...

enjoy...

When I used to live near Stuttgart, I had a friend who actually worked in the Zuffenhausen plant. He worked on the undercoatings. Employees at the plant got 10-15% off any car they wanted. We lost touch and last I heard through a mutual friend was that he quit and moved to Canada. Damm!

dead on, it's pretty major. The new engines and PDK are big news and the exterior changes, while pretty subtle, are a nice improvement. I like the tail lights too.
