Reports in Germany today are putting the Panamera Turbo's lap of the Nurburgring at 7:56
That's a record for a production sedan.
The Panamera Turbo beat the CTS-V, which held the prior record for a production sedan, by 3 seconds.
It is also faster, by a significant margin, than the MB CLK 63 Black Series, the E60 M5, and the E63 M6. It is as quick as a F360 Challenge Stradale, and only one second slower than a Ferrari F430 F1.

No surprise that the Porsche broke the CTS-V's time. Hopefully the F10 M5, with the upcoming significant upgrade in power, can beat the Porsche.

The Panamera may be fast, but it is still ugly.

Hopefully the F10 M5 will have both looks and power.

Some cars with complex design don't necessarily photograph well, the Panamera seems to be one that falls into that category. Those that see it in person tend to have a different opinion. Either way, I like what I see so far and it may very well be my next car...
i saw it personally... and i was like what in the world is that.. it looks like chopped version of cayenne with mix of carrera...
people just need to stick with carrera... not cayenne nor panamera.. if they need 4 door just drive regular car or bentley or maserati.
