Now you can take 3 of your friends and their bags and have some fun. Yes, more fun than in a 5 series, I guess.

Why is having fun only limited to two? What if you want to drive across America? If BMW can do sports sedan, so should Porsche.
Yer, Kia too...........

I think this is more about brand identity, the big guns trying to expand their sales in difference markets because of falling sales in their normal niche markets ?

Still think it looks poop, please let this thread die

It looks as good as a Porsche should be as long as you don't look from the "side"...

Hideous, absolutely terrible!!! Looks like someone crashed a Cayman into a Cayenne.
Agree 100%. And the Cayenne is just a 911 that rearended into a brick wall.

well...i would say that a porsche, more than any other car, has always been more about the driving...for ex: all the models (Cayenne excluded) have a sub-par build quality of materials (im talking about interior here)....its a sports car not a luxury sports car...so, i don't see any reason to complain...plus the exterior isn't thaat bad...people who love the road and love driving will adore this car.

Haha, good one.

German design is often very cautious and conservative but here I think they were too cautious. The Panamera is a very nice idea, but it looks... bland, dull and uninspiring. And next year (Feb 2009) Porsche will be delivered with diesel engines. Hopla.

This idea is sooo old. Anyone remember the Lamborghini Espada?

I like their modern interpretation of the concept a little better than Porsche's...

I too am on the fence with this one. I am leaning more toward the, i don't like it, side. However, i hated the Cayman when it first came out, but i like that now, so i may change after i've seen it in the flesh!
