The Comfort Seats in the 550 are amazing. I can sit in them forever. And my back problems required a surgeon -- not a chiropractor.
I think I will stick with my original plan of picking up a nice 2008 BMW 550i, but I will still keep my eyes open for a good deal on a M5 or an S6 if one is to appear.
The only thing about the Audi is I have read nightmares about reliability i.e. electricial and other issues (my friend's Dad had to have his motor replaced....)
Not to say that the M5 is reliable but I bet it is more reliable than the S6.

I liked my 911 but I'm very much in love with my 550i, I could fit 4 sets of clubs, a beer cooler, and 3 of my golf buddies for a weekend trip
