I would pick the audi rs4
The potential with the GT R of after market engine stuff will put in a category of supercars I can only dream of owning. The RS4 modifications will be limited by small gains due to its NA engine.

The GT-R is already in a different class than the RS4, M3, C63. It recorded a time of 7:35 around the ring in testing. That is very fast, not many production cars are faster than that. A few of cars it beat: SLR Mclaren, 997 turbo, Veyron, Z06 Vette, Ford GT, Zonda S. The GT-R simply put, just hauls ass.

You can see one a month earlier at the L.A. Auto Show, it starts Nov. 16th.

I?m sorry guys, but I can?t get excited about any Japanese car no matter how fast it may run.

My 550 sport will wrench my neck when I stomp on it and going from 5.5 sec to 3.5 sec would not swing me.

I got my first Bimmer because I wanted a Bimmer not because someone off the west coast put a big ass engine in a toy.

Isn?t there a Datsun Forum someplace?

Well since this is the "competition" forum, we talk about other makes. The GT-R is going to be a killer, it deserves some attention. Any car that beats a SLR Mclaren, 997 turbo, Veyron, Z06 Vette, Ford GT, Zonda S around the "ring" is going to be amazing.

This is not just some toy with a big engine. Every driving aspect of this car is off the charts. Just because the GT-R doesn’t have a BMW badge, doesn’t mean its not any good.

Here are some photos of the lcd screen. It displays engine/performance information: boost, engine oil temp pressure, accel/braking g, cornering g, etc...

Its f*ckin awesome.
