Well, what do You think I mean? The M5 or an E55/65 AMG or any SUV with 400+ hp. My point is, even the "almighty" M5 is no real sports car for me. It is really a great car, giving an incredible performance even on racetracks, being a close match to a Porsche or Ferrari. But it still remains a (pretty much) souped-up family sedan from its basic design and idea. It still has four doors, is more than 1,40 m in height, has lots of weight, every comfort and luxury gadget one can imagine and a nice, but not breathtaking design.

For me a sports car means the driving itself is the primary thing, a sexy design is preferred, everything else (space, sound, climate, seats, etc.) is secondary. Like I said, a real sports car is always a toy, You use it, when You feel like to, not when You have to. And, You don?t give a damn, where to put the child seat. -PERIOD-

That?s the reason I traded in my 911 for the E60: the idea of an everydays sportscar didn?t work, at least not for me. In everyday driving I want much more comfort than a Porsche can deliver, for "sports" use, at least my Targa was not hot enough. Unfortunately I?m not in the happy situation of others on this forum, who obviously can afford complete fleets of luxury and high-performance cars, I only own one car for me and one for my wife.

Greetings from the real life!

Funny when you say this, women comes to mind a toy which you can use whenever you feel like, not when you have to and you don't give a damn about period but than again greetings from the real life.

The turbo is really cool but I think in the GT3 you get more pure power, not the waiting for power as in some turbo engines.
That's why its a twin turbo. My preference would be a TT over a GT3 and a GT2 over a TT.

As a second car (toy car, weekender or u name it) the GT3 is by far the best option.

Well, well! Take it easy, Black (b?se) Mamba (whatever this signature is supposed to mean, not making real sense in translation from the German language). Like I said, a M5 can be a real match for a Porsche or Ferrari; whether it is on a racetrack like the Nurburgring or Hockenheim or a good and winded countryroad, will depend largely on the driver. I myself, mediocre but long-years experienced driver, in a F 430 might lose against You in a M5, but a professional driver will give You hell in a GT 3 or Turbo, Hamann plastic parts or not!

No offense meant!

For sure...but what he ment is that a GT3 or a Turbo can't do what the m5 can. Carry 4-5 people and with a resonable boot.
BTW i never sat in the back seats of a turbo or carrera? I wonder if there is a way to put an adult there?
