GT3 is a stripped down light weight bare bones track car. Definitely go test drive one before you buy it because that car is rough all the time unlike the regular Carrera S models or the new turbo models. My friend bought the last version and he sold his after a year because it was to rough and harsh to drive even for a fun day on the weekends. If you track alot that car would be the best for that. If you plan on having only one car for commuting and fun you are going to hate it after about 3-4 months. I agree with you that white is the perfect color.

Yeah that's what i feared the most....i wonder how much big the difference is in confort (ride, interior and...) between the turbo and the gt3. Does the gt3 still have the roll cage?

msport package, steptronic, pdc, mystik blue, grey dakota leather, sunroof, Bi-Xenon, heated rear seats, Hi-FI system, velour carpets
The turbo is really cool but I think in the GT3 you get more pure power, not the waiting for power as in some turbo engines.

If I would have opted for buying another Porsche, I?d definitely would have gone for the GT3.
I have driven it?s predecessor and the GT3 is 911 at it?s VERY BEST, the new one with more power probably even more so. Even if I had the extra 35k EUR, I would prefer it to the Turbo, although I would have to get rid of the admittedly oversized rear wing spoiler.
BUT I also would have considered it only as a big boy?s toy, and unfortunately my toys cannot be this big.
A GT3 on a track or empty autobahn really is the "ultimate driving experience", leaving any M3, M5 or AMG behind, maybe not so much in numbers or distance, but being pure fun and tons of style. This IS a serious sportscar, not just a hyped family sedan with lots of muscle. The exhaust sound should get anyones pant(ie)s wet.
BUT You can forget driving it as your everyday car, it is a REALLY hard drive, and the new one has PASM with a "sport" mode that will make your ears bleed, and when those PCCB ceramic brakes bite, your eyes will melt too.
For those with a driving style (or experience? ) requiring a roll-cage: wait till October, then the GT3 Clubsport version will be launched, practically race-ready, of course with roll-cage and battery main switch, same price.
