Dang, you guys have nailed the comments so far ... Jag has missed the mark here. Too bad as the concept car was sooo cool.

I like the rear quarter and back-end ... but that new face - yuck.

It may end up as a nice chick car, though.

The front grille kinda says "Buick" to me...

The shot of the inside of the trunk looks strange -- it looks like on either side of the suitcases there's some oddly shaped trim panels. Either that or some black foam was shoved in there...

I love my jags and have had a couple/still got one but this looks very bland but with a few nice details.

Jag take on a Lexus

Very "Fordesque" too.

I like the look. Reminds me of an Aston Martin.

Seems to be some interesting rumors that Apple worked on the user interface with Jaguar - I'm very interested to see the results. The iDrive like knob is actually the gear selector, the interface itself may well be Macromedia Flash based if the UI on the XK is anything to go by.

Doesn't look THAT bad. Remember what everyone said about the E60 when the first official photos came out... I was actually planning on buying an XF (supercharged version) but got too inpatient and ordered the new E60 instead. When I was seeing the videos of the concept car I was really tempted to wait ... I'm glad I didn't. It's "ok", but just not enough to save Jaguar. It's a shame - I owned an XJ8 (the model before the current XJ) and absolutely loved it to bits. I would rate it overall better than the E60 in terms of prestige and luxury. But I can't see now that I would ever go back to Jaguar. The current XK looks tacky, the XJ is a barge on wheels with no grace like the previous generation, the X-Type ... just "no" ... the only thing that would have swayed me was a monster of a replacement to the S-Type, but the XF just isn't good enough. I honestly think this is going to be the end for Jaguar.

Why not offer the small v8 diesel being produced next door in the same factory as the refined, but underpowerd v6?

Very interesting car - finally no more retro design. Look at the interior shots. After slagging the I-Drive Jaguar does an I-Drive'ish gear selector.

Not feeling it. The front light clusters and that bumper just doesn't do it. There's no Jag heritage in there. Maybe its impossible to conger it up at this point. If I were Ford, I'd sell Jag to some rich Arab. The interior looks like retro babble. Flakey, powdery and brittle.
