Love it. But I won't buy a Jaguar, BMW reliability is bad enough, I am not going to buy another brand that has worse reliability issues.
Need to work every week, I don't have the lexury to drive the car to dealer all the time. At least BMW has far more dealer/shops in US.

I think they've worked a lot of those out now. Jaguar is getting decent JD Power ratings. To be honest I've had my 545 at the dealer way more than any other car I've ever owned!!!

And won't the Jag get a power boost (supercharger) late in the year? That should make up the in the power difference. I will check this Jag out as they finally do have a modern one that please me esthetically. Also I believe they will do a hard automatic tonneau cover for the cabrio model. There current manual clump of crap cover looks atrocious in today's modern clean look environment.

I wont buy a 6 series. I have driven one and nothing in it stood out as special to me.
Back on the XK topic, check the new convertible out

I agree with you. A lot of manufactures improve their quality for the past few years, including BMW, Jaguar, Ford, and even GM. But they still have some catching up to do with Japanese manufactures.
Ford owns jaguar which means quality will only get worse by the year. Similar to MB

Total BS . Jaguar's quality - and product - has improved a lot since Ford took ownership. Jaguar are turning out some decent gear right now, Ford is rightly scaling back on the lower end models. If you've ever driven one of the new XJ's it's hard not to be impressed.

Press release in SA went well. Three different Euro Mags I read all loved the handling, compliant but very sporty. I do believe it is well worth a look. I would not replace my 6er with it but would replace my Audi Cabrio with one, IF they really do have it right or very close to right AND the wife wants it Otherwise I just leave it in her hands. I have mine
