well I agree but you can`t compare a 4 door to a 2 door look
Says who?
I think the CLS 63 AMG looks better than the M6.
See, I did it again.

My Ride: Jan 2006 E63 650i Sport . Options: Sport version (includes: sport-seats, sport-suspension, M-Sport steering wheel, Anthracite headliner, Shaddow Line), Saphire Black, Black Dakota Leather, Anthracite Maple Wood trim, Steptronic Auto, Xenons, NAV-Professional with Voice Control, TV, CD-Changer, Bluetooth, Logic7, Head-up Display, Comfort Access, Seat Heating front, Auto Dimming & Folding Mirrors, Extended Auto Air Conditioning, PDC. . Mods: Spacers 5mm front & 15mm rear . Wheels: 20" Alpina Softline (Classic) with Dunlop Sport Maxx non-RFT (255/35/20 & 285/30/20)
Default

Smart move with the sport and standard packs from the factory, but still not my cup of tea - especially the rear and interior.

Was following a "test-mule" C-class on the A3 Autobahn last week and the driver was... how can I put this... "putting it through its paces" I believe is the phrase! The guy was absolutely gunning it. It had a twin exhaust like the 335i, so I assume it was a powerful version. Because of traffic he wasn't able to really pull away, but not for lack of trying! When I finally was able to pull along side, he didn't like me taking a closer look and hit the brakes hard to stop me running next to him. It was covered in plastic and tape anyway!

I think the 3er will safely stay at the top of its class, especially when it comes to "sport" and driving appeal.

I have no idea where you get this information from. The 08 C-Class is (according to Edmunds) roughly the same weight as the current 07 model, despite the larger dimensions. That means approximately 3400 to 3500 lbs, which is roughly E90 territory.

I like it... MB is really stepping up their game with their styling.. the new S CL and the CLS all look amazing imo...
I don't know what you think, but I think the S trunk lid resemble the 7 series one If so then your post make a lot more sense now

I like it a lot more than the 3 series. I'm always puzzled by the pathological inability of some members on here to give MB (or for that matter almost any other manufacturer) any credit whatsoever for their products. Strong competition is what will keep BMW at the top of their game.
Well there's credit from MB, it keeps me from wanting to switch away from BMW

i like it better than the current C but i don't know how long it is going to hold out. Sorta looks dated already and in a couple years it may start looking fugly. Personally I think the new c-class is too conservative and boring.
Is already fugly now, nevermind few years down the road. The pics with the AMG fronts should be the design for regular production C class if they want a chance to compete in the sports sedan segment. With the other front, the C is just

Mercedes has publicly announced they're going for the elder part of the population and with this in mind I think it looks good. Something you'll buy when you're 50+. Nice styling, though. But the rear...
Isn't this what MB has been doing all these years? Appealing to the older segment of the population?
