I was only trying to express my disbeliefs of SUV?s, especially those with high power. If you like a lot of hp in a car, why put it in a 2000kg+ car with high CG? I don?t get it?

 

I am set for the time being with that oil-burnin' beema you see on the avatar but family needs an SUV. Its either gonna be the ML in the AMG form or the RRSS/C. The new X5 unfortunately is a wait too long. The 63 looks like its gonna be faster even than the turbo s (5.2 to 100) versus 5 dead for the Merc. Both manufacturer's figures.

Yeah why not on an f1 car?
Or smth similar...why not put it on a 2 door WITH carbon fiber body kit? Why not fit ceramic brakes to that also...why not why not why not..........

You've got it all wrong mate. A suv acts way different than a 4 door saloon (like an e60). Even the top sport suvs.

At least someone understands my point AND the physics of car handling, power to weight etc.

Anyway - it?s nice there are soooooooo many different cars to chose from and that I?m able to buy such a fantastic one as the M5

 

Thats exactly the point I am trying to make. You might like the M5 but it's not everyones cup of tea. Maybe the ML63 buyer prefers it over the M5.

Love them or loathe them, SUV's are here to stay.
