It has been said many times on this forum that Mercedes either gets inspiration from or even copies BMW. Well, I have concrete evidence to refute this. On the left is the new R-Class Mercedes, a glorified minivan for the clueless upwarly mobile set and on the right is Baird's Tapir, a large ant eater looking animal indiginous to South America. You decide for yourself.

R class is ugly... but there soooooo many people that buy it... WHY? I see soo many on the road! Its crazy!!! never seen anything more ugly.

Just buy Sienna or something which will look like a real van and serve all its purpose better, i guess some people cant take that they are driving a non brand car, hence cars like R class are coming in. I think BMW is working on something, but lets hope its not as ugly as the R class.
