At least it will probably be the most expensive considering it's limited production run. Besides some of the best cars in the world are south of 600HP - as teh Pirelli slogan goes: "power is nothing without control" and IMHO anything north of 700HP is useless unless you're drag racing - which isn't real racing anyway. Anyone can go fast for 1/4 mile, throw a turn in there and see how good they REALLY are.

Seems like you guys haven't read much on this car or the link posted above. The car is being built and will be on sale in the spring of 2010 for Europe (no pricing or date has been released for the US). Also, there won't be an AMG version of this car because this car is already being built by AMG. It's the first car completely built by AMG from the ground up.

maybe they'll make a sls amg black version someday?
either way the sls is going to look great!

The limited production run will probably make it much more expensive than any sticker price and it has a respectable amount of power for a car in it's class. The gullwing has been an icon of mercedes even though it been long out of production. I don't think they need to make a "Halo" more expensive or more powerful...just design it well.
