In case you wondered what it would look like once the wheels were changed, here it is.
New E550 with 21?9 and 21?10 Vellano Forged VTi? wheels. The wheels are finished with a brushed faced, polished window, and color matched accents.

The lease on my '07 550i is up in December and I started looking around at other cars. One of those was the E550 and I test drove one a couple of weeks ago just to see what it was like. I had test driven one back before I got my 550i and didn't like it at all. This one was very different.
It doesn't drive like my BMW but it handles pretty well and the suspension is much tighter then I remember the other one to be. It is very quick - I would say quicker than my 550i. The seats, while not as good as the comfort seats in the BMW, are pretty comfortable and supportive and a dramatic improvement over what they had. The seats were heated/cooled and the drivers seat had a control for massage/dynamic adjustments of the bolsters.
They don't offer Active Steering or HUD both of which I love which is a real negative and the overall driving experience is certainly not what I have now.
