hey guys
So last night I had the chance to take a Lexus ISF out for a test drive...
This thing is amazing, I had a stupid grin on my face the whole time. I pulled out of the dealership lot and floored it on a rolling start and broke the rear wheels loose right away screaming the tires. Surprisingly the traction control lets you have a little fun before it kicks in. The acceleration is heart wrenching, you hit the highway and before you know it you are going 200km/hr. The 8 speed auto tranny is unbelievably smooth through all its gears, down shifts everything. At regular highway speeds 110km/hr in 8th gear the rpm's are only 1500, floor it and within a second you've smoothly downshifted to 4th gear and are flying. The exhaust note sounds amazing not the usual japanese fart can sound just a nice loud low growling scream. The only downfall to this car is the suspension is a little soft for the type of vehicle, the steering doesn't feel quite as "attached" to the road like on bmw's but overall very fun and great looking car.

I have seen used IS-F's selling in the mid to low $40k. They are not holding their value.

I'm not a fan of the stacked tailpipe look of the car either but when you mash the pedal man does that exhaust sound sweet.

It's a fast car, but it's still a Lexus...
